The purpose of this study is to assess the functional performance of a new prosthesis control system, known as Phantom X. Subjects will be fitted with a non-invasive sensor array and prosthetic arm and asked to perform tasks during 1-2 study visits.
You will do two tests:
- In the first test, you will do tasks like packing a suitcase and setting a table. You will do each task twice, once with how you normally do it (with or without your current prosthesis) and once using the Phantom X system. The order of the two will be random.
- In the second test, you will move numbered blocks from one box to another.
Visits will fit individuals with array and test their ability to use hand to perform tasks.
