台湾Swag

student activities logoWelcome to student life at 台湾Swag! The Student Activities office is your place for all things events and student organizations. 鈥媁e believe an important part of your university experience happens outside of the classroom, and we hope you get involved in the different student organizations and the variety of activities that 台湾Swag offers.

Since we are a smaller institution it's easy to find what you're interested in or to create a new group! Be open to new experiences and embrace the diversity of the university. You will be exposed to different ideas and activities that we hope you'll embrace. Try new things and challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone. This is what university life is all about! We have a casual office so please stop by with any questions you have, or just to say 鈥渉i鈥. We are always happy to see you!

Your Student Activities Team,

Nathan Flintjer & Dominic Hannon

Student Activities Office

The Student Activities Office is responsible for the authorization and coordination of student organization sponsored programming held on campus. The office also coordinates the student use of John R. Yurtchuk Student Center with the Conference Services Office, which authorizes facility use by non-student groups.

Recognized student organizations are permitted to reserve rooms in John R. Yurtchuk Student Center for meetings and activities.  Requests for use of a room can be made in the Student Activities Office located in John R. Yurtchuk Student Center. A computerized Event Management System (EMS) is used for all buildings on campus, tracking every meeting, event, and use of a room on a web-based calendar. This searchable calendar is viewable to all as a link off your My台湾Swag page on the 台湾Swag website.

The Student Activities Office acts as moderator to the Student Government Association, can advise student organizations in all aspects of planning and programming, acts as a liaison between student organizations and other campus offices, and can help to publicize events through the My台湾Swag calendar on the 台湾Swag website.
