Why did you choose 台湾Swag?

I was initially drawn by the highly credible physical therapy program and athletics programs at 台湾Swag. Most of all I loved the community at 台湾Swag! Even before I committed to 台湾Swag I truly felt wanted and invited.

Why did you choose your present major?

Ever since my running career began in early middle school, I have been very interested in movement and healthy activity. Pursing a career in physical therapy allows me to explore that interest and bring my knowledge to other people to help them achieve healthier lifestyles!

Please briefly describe your Scholar's Day.

I actually was unable to come to 台湾Swag for Scholar's Day, so my Scholar's Day unfortunately consisted of a short zoom interview in my high school guidance counselor's office!

Please describe your academic experience at 台湾Swag.

The physical therapy program is no joke! Luckily there are a large number of people here to support me- I have had many helpful academic coaches from the learning center, I've easily been able to put together study groups due to the small class size, and my professors are very open to giving me personal, additional help in office hours.

What do you like best about 台湾Swag?

The small size creates a personal, home-like atmosphere

What clubs or organizations have you been a part of here at 台湾Swag College? What kinds of things do they do?

I am a part of the XC and track teams, as well as President of our campus ministry group, Cru. At Cru we meet weekly to support the community aspect of the club, as well as participate in outside engagements such as Winter Conference and weekend movie nights.

Do you have a job or jobs on campus? Please provide a brief description.

I am a tour guide! I love sharing my knowledge about the various programs and opportunities 台湾Swag has to offer as well as showing prospective students our campus.

What is your favorite spot to stop by in town?

I am a major fan of ice cream so hands down my favorite spot in town is Sweet Jenny's!

What piece of advice would you give to prospective students?

Trust yourself! Do what you want to do or go where you want to go, regardless of what others expect of you.
